The Simple Austrian Defense System to Crush 1.d4
Ever wondered what a 2400-rated IM would play if he had to start over and climb the rating ladder from scratch?
I asked exactly that to IM Mieszko Mis from Poland.
His answer?
“Austrian Defense. All day. Every day.”

Why? It’s ONE system you can use against nearly any 1.d4 opening.
It’s aggressive, simple to learn, and super effective – perfect for climbing from 1200 to 2000+.
Pack it with attacking lines that wreck players under 2000, blend in quick development and flexible structures, and keep the theory light… that’s your recipe for climbing from 1200 to 2000+. And that’s exactly what IM Mis shows you in his brand-new training.
Here is what you’ll learn:
- Your New Weapon vs. 1.d4 – Sick of slow progress? The Austrian Defense is IM Mis’ top pick for the quickest way to jump from 1200 to 2000 with Black
- Instant Pressure with c5 – Whatever White plays: c4, Nf3, London, you name it, you strike back early with c5 and take charge right away
- Surprise Factor = High – Almost nobody knows this opening, so you’ll catch your opponents totally off guard
- Backed by Top GMs – Tested by top engines and used by legends like Nakamura, MVL, and Mamedyarov… it’s solid and battle-proven
- Loaded with Fresh Ideas – The course is packed with brand-new lines and sneaky tricks you won’t find anywhere else. Perfect for scoring wins fast and having fun
The result?
You’ll get simple, easy-to-play positions that are a breeze to win, just follow IM Mis’s step-by-step plans.
